Welcome to “محطة” (Mahatta), an online multi-vendor marketplace. By using our platform, vendors and customers agree to the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in penalties, account suspension, or termination.

  1. Definitions
  • Mahatta: The online marketplace owned and operated by [Mahatta Bahrain].
  • Vendor: Any individual or business approved to sell products on Mahatta.
  • Customer: Any user purchasing products through Mahatta.
  • Order: A purchase made by a customer through the Mahatta platform.
  • Refund: A repayment to a customer due to product return, cancellation, or dispute resolution.
  1. Vendor Responsibilities
  • Vendors must ensure that all product listings are accurate, legal, and comply with Mahatta’s policies.
  • Vendors are responsible for managing returns, refunds, and customer service for their products.
  • Vendors must cover the cost of any refunds, but Mahatta will process refunds directly to customers for trust and security.
  • Vendors must update stock levels regularly, especially if selling through other platforms.
  • Vendors must prepare all orders on time for delivery. Failure to fulfill orders or repeated customer complaints will result in a warning. If issues persist, Mahatta reserves the right to block the vendor.
  • Vendors must comply with all applicable laws and Mahatta’s verification process before listing any products.
  1. Mahatta’s Responsibilities
  • Mahatta will handle shipping, order tracking, and payment processing.
  • Mahatta will verify all vendors and their products before they can be listed.
  • Mahatta will mediate disputes between vendors and customers if necessary.
  • Mahatta will process refunds to customers but deduct the refunded amount from the vendor.
  • Mahatta will hold customer payments until order delivery is confirmed.
  • Mahatta will investigate complaints and fraud cases to ensure fair resolution.
  1. Customer Responsibilities
  • Customers must pay in full at checkout.
  • Customers agree to follow the vendor’s return and refund policies.
  • In case of a dispute, customers must cooperate with Mahatta’s investigation.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks or false claims may lead to account suspension.
  1. Compliance & Violations
  • Vendors and customers must comply with all Mahatta rules.
  • Vendors who fail to deliver, repeatedly receive complaints, or violate policies will receive one warning. Further violations will result in permanent account suspension.
  • Mahatta reserves the right to remove any vendor or product that violates these terms.
  1. Dispute Resolution
  • If a customer files a complaint, Mahatta will investigate before taking any action.
  • Vendors must provide necessary evidence (e.g., shipping proof, communication records) to support their case.
  • Mahatta’s decision on disputes will be final to maintain platform integrity.
  1. Fraud Prevention
  • Vendors engaging in fraudulent activities (e.g., fake listings, misleading product descriptions) will be permanently banned.
  • Customers attempting fraud (e.g., false refund claims, chargebacks) will also be banned.
  • Mahatta will report fraudulent activities to relevant authorities if necessary.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Mahatta acts solely as an intermediary between vendors and customers.
  • Mahatta does not manufacture, inspect, or guarantee the quality of products sold.
  • Mahatta is not responsible for damages, losses, or disputes arising from vendor products or customer purchases.
  • By using Mahatta, all parties agree that Mahatta’s liability is limited to the service fees collected.
  1. Indemnification
  • Vendors agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mahatta, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from their products, business operations, or customer interactions.
  • Vendors assume full responsibility for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
  1. No Guarantee of Sales
  • Mahatta provides a platform for vendors to sell their products but does not guarantee any sales, visibility, or customer engagement.
  • Vendors are responsible for their own success on the platform.
  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
  • These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • Any disputes or legal claims arising from these terms shall be settled under the jurisdiction of Bahraini courts.
  1. Amendments to Terms
  • Mahatta reserves the right to update these terms. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
